Design and create a unique sculptural vessel using merino wool rovings.
This project shows you how to create a 3D felt vessel- “Cracked Earth Vessel”.
You will be guided through the process of making and moulding felt, using resists to form the shape. There are step by step instructions with images supplied to view the techniques.
This vessel is for more experience felters. Enthusiasm and imagination are the best ingredients to create this piece. A progressive range of skills will be developed so that you will feel confident to design your own range of felt vessels.
Gentle Roller or Generic Instruction: Specific Gentle Roller instruction but can be adapted by anyone with good felting and fulling skills.
